Types of Remote Controls

Original remote control
Only a remote control marked as original is truly original (i.e. supplied directly by the manufacturer of the device). It is offered as a spare part for a specific device directly by the manufacturer.

Replacement remote control
Such a remote control is never original (it is a replacement for the original remote). It may look the same or similar, but it is not manufactured by the device producer.

Replica remote control
Has the same appearance as the original but is produced by a third-party manufacturer. Replica = copy of the original. The advantage is a much lower price compared to the original.

Replacement remote control with a different design
Usually a programmable remote control that has a different button layout compared to the original, but the functions are identical. The advantage is a lower price and the possibility to program the remote to operate up to 4 additional devices (e.g. TV, DVD, SAT, AUX).

Note: Replacement remote controls may look similar or completely different from the original one. This information is provided with each specific product in the e-shop. Functionality is always the same as the original remote.

General Terms and Conditions

1. General Provisions

These terms and conditions apply to purchases in the online store ovladac.tv. They specify the rights and obligations of the seller (operator, supplier) and the buyer (customer – consumer). The operator of the online store is EMERX team s.r.o., Company ID: 28635728. All contractual relationships are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic.

If the contractual party is a consumer, relationships not regulated by these terms and conditions are governed by the Civil Code (Act No. 89/2012 Coll.) and the Consumer Protection Act (Act No. 634/1992 Coll.).

2. Definitions

Consumer contract – a purchase contract, contract for work, or other contract where the consumer is on one side and the entrepreneur on the other.

Supplier / seller – a person acting within their business activities who delivers goods or services to the buyer.

Buyer – consumer – any individual acting outside the scope of their business or profession who enters into a contract with an entrepreneur.

Buyer – entrepreneur – a person purchasing goods or services for business purposes. Consumer protection provisions do not apply to such relationships.

Purchase contract – product listings in the online store are for information only. The contract is concluded once the order is confirmed by the seller.

Delivery Conditions

Goods in stock ordered before 1:00 p.m. are shipped the same day.
If goods are not in stock, the buyer will be informed by phone or e-mail.
Upon delivery, always check the package and contents. In case of damage, record it with the courier.

Shipping: PPL, GLS, or Czech Post (registered letter). Delivery cost starts at 50 CZK depending on payment and carrier.

Online and Phone Orders

After placing an order, the buyer will receive an e-mail confirmation.
Orders can´t be placed by phone.

Prices

All prices include VAT.
Goods remain the property of the seller until fully paid.
The seller reserves the right to change prices and product offers.

Warranty and Complaints

All products come with a 24-month warranty.
The warranty does not cover defects caused by misuse, mechanical damage, force majeure, normal wear and tear, or incorrect installation.
The consumer has the right to:
- free repair,
- replacement of goods or parts,
- withdrawal from the contract if repair or replacement is not possible,
- an appropriate discount if repair or replacement is not possible.

Withdrawal from the Contract (Consumer)

The consumer has the right to withdraw from the contract without giving a reason within 14 days from receiving the goods.
Goods should be returned (preferably in the original packaging, complete and undamaged).
The buyer bears the cost of return.
The purchase price will be refunded within 14 days of withdrawal.

Order Cancellation

The seller may cancel an order in the following cases:

goods are sold out,
supplier significantly changed the price,
goods were damaged during transport.

Personal Data Protection and Communication

By registering in the e-shop, the customer agrees to the processing of personal data in accordance with applicable law and to receive commercial information (max. once every 14 days).

Out-of-Court Dispute Resolution

Consumer disputes may be resolved by the Czech Trade Inspection Authority, Štěpánská 567/15, 120 00 Prague 2, Company ID: 000 20 869, www.coi.cz.
